Superbowl

Carter's first Super Bowl wasn't too exciting. His Auntie Heather came over and his Daddy grilled us some yummy dinner. Carter didn't catch too much of the game, but he did seem happy to sleep in his Auntie Heather's arms!

Growing Boy

Carter is growing quickly. At his 2 week doctors appointment he weighed 7 1/2 pounds and had grown 1 1/2 inches! He still eats all the time and does not like to take naps. He is doing pretty well sleeping in his crib at night... which we are very thankful for!

First Days Home

The first days home went pretty well. We found out quickly that Carter likes to eat... a lot. We spent most of our time feeding him and trying to convince him to go to sleep.

At his first doctor's appointment (3 days old) the doctor said he looked like he was doing very well!

Our New Little Guy

Carter was born on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 3:02pm. He was stubborn from the very beginning. When he came out he was hanging on tight to the umbilical cord. Apparently, he didn't think he was ready to join us. The first night in the hospital he decided he'd rather not sleep by himself. He spent the night in Daddy's arms. That's how it all began... and he continues to be just as stubborn. He must get that from his Dad.
